Emaar Bawadi launches Teema

Emaar Bawadi, the joint venture between Emaar Properties and Bawadi, a member of Tatweer, has launched Teema, the first residential community in Asmaran, the 70 million sqft master-planned project being developed within the Dh200bn hospitality project Bawadi.

Teema will have 308 town houses and will be by a retail facility and a community centre. Sales will begin from May 20, just seven months into announcing the multi-billion joint venture. The residential community will have pedestrian areas and master-planned infrastructure apart from a retail centre, mosque and school.

Within its development, Teema will have green landscape and walkways, in close access to several community amenities. Teema homes comprise a mix of duplexes and two- and three- bedroom villas. The homes have all been fitted with elegant Spanish architectural features with the apartments having a built-area in the region 1,780 to 2,800 sqft. Construction on the project will begin shortly.

A Great Idea: Solar powered Sea Limousine for Dubai

This idea is based on “The World” located in Dubai – a society with new needs of marine transportation between artificial islands. We are living in a world where artificial islands (were finished). Powered with solar cells integrated in the window skin and moves forward with hovercraft. This concept deliver a new dimension of discrete sea limousine in terms of luxury yacht design. Controlled by a satellite navigation system, therefore no human pilot, sea limousine seems to be the best mode of conveyance over the blue channels.

Saudi Arabian investment in the UAE remains strong, says Durar Properties

Leading UAE-based property development company, Durar (‘jewels’ in Arabic) Properties, unveiled its newest residential project in Dubai today, at a gala event held at the spectacular Mina A’ Salam last evening.

Durar 1, a twin-building development, is a joint venture between Durar Properties and Ali and Sons, and is ably supported by leading Saudi-based real estate and property investment groups, Zuhair Al Habib, Saleh Al Habib Investments and Al Mutawa Investments.
