Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Authority to Issue Property Price Chart

Dubai’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has plans in the pipeline to issue a comprehensive real estate survey. The real estate price chart will consist of the rates of differing property bands within various areas of Dubai.

However, there is debate between real estate experts as to the effect the move will have on the sale-purchase and rental of Dubai real estate. One school of thought goes with the idea that the list by Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Authority will be used by landlords in that they will increase real estate rentals. So for those who own Dubai real estate, RERA’s endeavour is good news. On the other hand, the price transparency brought in Dubai real estate market by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency is something that will be enforced uniformly across the emirate.

Million-dollar Carpet in Dubai

A hand-woven silk carpet with a rare design and craftsmanship will be exhibited in Dubai between May 25 and May 27, 2008. Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will be the venue for the event.

The million-dollar artwork has been named “Zahra” and is part of the portfolio of a Japanese company Yazdani. The carpet will be one of the many showcased at the exhibit centre as part of the International Trade Fair for Carpets and Floor Coverings.

Around 275 exhibitors from all over the world will be showcasing their innovations.

Over the last twenty years or so the Middle Eastern city of Dubai has become one of the hottest vacation and business locations in the world. It is a rapidly developing, fabulously wealthy futuristic city set within a centuries-old Arab culture. The traditional ways are still there if you look for them.
